T&L Lawn Care was founded in 2010 after owner Tom Bachur found himself without a job when his previous employer unexpectedly went out of business. Tom decided to turn that challenge into an opportunity. In June of that year, he and his fourteen-year-old daughter Lauren, set out on what they called a summer “experiment.”
With a small group of newly acquired customers, Tom and Lauren began cutting lawns. That summer, their commitment to quality, attention to detail, integrity, and personalized service laid the foundation for what would become T&L Lawn Care. Many of those original customers remain with us today—a testament to the relationships we’ve built and the service we continue to provide.
Sixteen seasons later, that summer experiment has grown into T&L Lawn Care LLC, one of the area’s most respected lawn care companies in the area. As life progressed, Lauren pursued her own career goals, although T&L Lawn Care remains a family business, owned, operated, and managed by Tom and his wife, Kelly. And in true family-business fashion, Lauren still steps in from time to time when Tom and Kelly are away.
T&L Lawn Care LLC is proud to hold an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and consistently earns outstanding reviews on Google and Yelp.
The company was built on the values Tom developed during his 20-year career with a local police department. Although Tom retired from police service in 2003, the lessons and values he learned during his tenure continue to shape the culture, beliefs, and day-to-day operations of T&L Lawn Care LLC.
